At EKUCC, we recognize the important connection between physical and emotional wellness. Being mindful of our wellness activities and choices can increase resiliency to stress by promoting life balance and contentment. We offer several programs targeting emotional wellness to increase your potential success in the classroom and in life.
Feel Better Fast
Feel Better Fasts are psycho-educational workshops that teach coping strategies to address our emotions so that we can thrive-even under stress! Topics include: how to cope with moods, manage stress, increase focus, and strategies to change how your mind and body responds to stress.
Peak Performance Workshops
Experience test anxiety? Struggling with procrastination? Want to be more motivated? Peak Performance is for you! Peak Performance is a 60-minute weekly workshop series that provides skills to address these common challenges among college students. Organization in Action – This organization and planning workshop will be aimed at creating a routine to help with managing your day. Additionally, we will brainstorm ways to increase your motivation and make it easier to begin tasks, while hopefully making your day more enjoyable.
Motivation – Are you having a hard time staying motivated? In this workshop we will discuss factors that impact motivation, as well as ways to stay motivated during these uncertain times. Attend this workshop on how to address motivation to improve your personal performance.
Test Anxiety – When we are stressed, it can be hard to operate at our best. When we are stressed and then need to complete tasks that will be graded or evaluated, it can feel impossible to be our best. This workshop focuses on ways to improve test anxiety, improving personal motivation for the things that need to get done, as well as how to set effective and attainable goals.
