What Can I Do With A WGS Minor?
A minor or certificate in Women and Gender Studies complements any major program of study. Students have paired their WGS work with a variety of majors: American Sign Language, Anthropology, Art, Biology, Child and Family Studies, Comparative Humanities, Criminal Justice, Education, English, History, Marketing, Philosophy, Political Science, Pre-Law, Pre-Med, Psychology, Public Health, Social Work, Sociology, Spanish, Sport Management, and many other programs.
Our alumni have found professional work in education, health care, management, ministry, the non-profit sector, social work, and additional fields. Our graduates have also pursued higher education in Gender Studies and have successfully secured graduate teaching assistantships.
