Construction Management Scholarships
AGC / Richard Brooker Scholarship
In conjunction with the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Kentucky, the Richard A. Brooker Scholarship is open to any junior or senior enrolled in the Construction Management program. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required. Two scholarships are awarded each year.
George Blanka Construction Management Scholarship
The recipient of the George Blanka Scholarship is to be a full-time student who is majoring in Construction Management with a minimum GPA of 3.0. The student must also have completed at least one co-op experience and received an exemplary evaluation.
David and Plomin Mechanical Contracting Scholarship
The recipient of the Davis and Plomin Mechanical Contracting Scholarship is to be awarded to a student in Construction Management who has reached junior status. The scholarship is open to non-traditional students (24 years of age or older) or who are military veterans.
Applied Engineering Management Scholarships
Paul A. Laslo Family Scholarship
The recipient of the Paul A. Laslo Family Scholarship is to be a full-time undergraduate student majoring in an Applied Engineering and Technology degree program. The recipient must be in good academic standing (2.5 GPA or above) and demonstrate a financial need.
William Sexton Scholarship
The recipient of the William Sexton scholarship is to be a full-time student, freshman or sophomore, with a minimum GPA of 2.8 and a major in the Department of Applied Engineering and Technology. Financial need is a consideration in this scholarship.
Ed Swinford Scholarship
The recipient of the Ed Swinford Scholarship is to be a full-time undergraduate student with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. This scholarship is open to students in any major in the Department of Applied Engineering and Technology except Aviation. There is a preference for students who are teaching majors.
Ralph W. Whalin Scholarship
The Ralph W. Whalin Scholarship is open to juniors enrolled full-time in the Department of Applied Engineering and Technology with at least three semesters remaining before graduation, and a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Aviation Scholarships
Patricia Eidson Memorial Scholarship
The Patricia Eidson Memorial Scholarship is open to any female pursuing a career as a professional pilot. Applicants must have a private pilot’s license, a minimum 3.0 GPA and have completed at least 60 credit hours.
Lee Moore Jr. Scholarship
The H. Lee Moore, Jr. Aviation Scholarship is open to any declared aviation student with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who holds a private pilot’s license and a Kentucky resident.
Tag Veal Memorial Scholarship
The Captain Tag Veal Memorial Aviation Scholarship is open to any declared aviation student with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and who holds a private pilot’s license. Two scholarships are awarded each year.
Southeastern Airport Managers’ Association Scholarship
Applicants for the SAMA Scholarship must be a United States citizen, be at least a junior, have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the major subject field of Aviation, have demonstrated a financial need and have a strong interest in aviation, preferably airport management.
