The Summer Scholars program provides additional support for diverse students classified as juniors and seniors with financial need who would benefit from enrolling in summer courses. The Summer Scholars program provides financial support in the form of tuition to reduce financial barriers associated with taking summer courses for students who would benefit from the extra boost to cross the finish line to graduation.

Applications for Summer 2020 are closed and all scholarships have been awarded. More information regarding the 2021 Summer Scholars application process and timeline will be available here in spring.

Students selected for summer scholarships participate in additional enrichment experiences, including:

  • Student success workshops designed to enhance critically important skills to enhance academic excellence; and

  • Community service opportunities related to areas of interest and value to you and your academic career.
