How might students benefit from taking summer courses?

This is an online-only course that doesn’t meet at a specific time — so you can work on your assignments at a time and place that is best for you! You’ll also get a lot of choice in the topics you will be discussing in your papers. Your instructor will be available to help through email and Zoom. Just reach out if you have questions!

What advice would you give to a summer student taking your class?

English 102 is a required course for all students. Completing it during the Summer session gets it out of the way before the Fall semester, and it provides students with necessary skills they will be using in those future courses.

What is your favorite summer activity?

I’ll be doing some backpacking this summer, including portions of the Appalachian Trail, Smokies, Red River Gorge, and any other place that sounds fun!
