Resistance & Survival: Women in France’s World War II with Dr. Deborah Alexander (Summer 2025) This program explores the important, but often overlooked roles of women in France’s WWII occupation and liberation. With France in World War II as a case study, we will explore historical, psychological, and political topics like resistance, propaganda, democracy, heroism, recovery – and women’s places in war.
