For the safety of staff and students, the Noel Studio will monitor conditions throughout the day and reserves the right to close our space and shift services online (Plan A) or cancel services entirely (Plan B) in the event the University does not initiate a University-level Plan A or B due to inclement weather.
Consultations
Plan A (Remote/Virtual)
Please note that the Noel Studio may need to shift your appointment to a different consultant and/or make slight modifications to the consultation time/duration, dependent upon consultant/staff schedules or technology access; the Noel Studio will contact you directly if there’s a need to change the time/duration of your appointment.
Students can log into their Noel Studio account and/or contact the Noel Studio via the chat box located at studio.eku.edu to check on appointment availability and/or to reschedule consultation. Depending upon consultant availability, the Noel Studio may or may not be able to reschedule for the same day.
In the unlikely event the University implements a transition to remote/virtual instruction (Plan A) AFTER opening on a standard schedule, all Noel Studio consultations are canceled to accommodate staff travel; virtual/remote consultation hours will be re-added to our online scheduling system as consultants become available.
Plan B (Closure/Cancelation)
Students can log into their Noel Studio account to check on appointment availability and/or to reschedule consultations once the University resumes operations; the Noel Studio live chat box will be available once the University resumes operations.
Workshops, Orientations, and Presentations
Plan A (Remote/Virtual)
In the event that EKU implements Plan A, all Noel Studio workshops, orientations, and presentations are canceled.
Faculty should contact noelstudio@eku.edu to reschedule workshops/orientations/presentations, but might also consider an asynchronous orientation/presentation or workshop/toolkit.
Plan B (Closure/Cancelation)
Under Plan B, University operations and in-person instruction are canceled and suspended until further notice. In the event that EKU implements Plan B, all Noel Studio orientation/presentations are canceled.
