“The Office of Sustainability was excited to welcome a diverse group of attendees to our Campus Beautiful to celebrate Earth Day and the important work of environmental stewardship and climate action,” said Namugayi,  “The festival gives the EKU and Richmond community the opportunity to learn more about sustainability.”

The annual event is focused on regional sustainability, with Kentucky environmental organizations such as Kentuckians for the Commonwealth, the Kentucky Student Environmental Coalition, Kentucky Heartwood, the Community Farm Alliance and the Kentucky Waterways Alliance in attendance.
