The School of Music at Eastern Kentucky University will present the musical version of “Wizard of Oz” Nov. 8-11. The Gifford Theatre curtain will rise at 7:30 p.m. nightly Nov. 8-10 and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11.

The production, directed by EKU alumnus Wes Nelson, will include in its cast EKU students, one Eastern professor and local children as the munchkins. The orchestra is composed entirely of EKU students.

Tickets be purchased online anytime at http://music.eku.edu/events/wizard-oz-musical: $8 for students and seniors (62 and over) and $10 for other adults. In both cases, a $1 courtesy fee is added to the cost. Tickets may also be purchased for $2 more apiece at the Gifford box office on performance dates immediately prior to each show.

Gifford Theatre is located in the Campbell Building on Crabbe Street.
