Eastern Kentucky University staff will be on site at the Danville campus on Tuesday, March 27, from noon to 6 p.m. to assist students with advising, scheduling help and any other information that might ease their transition to the Fall 2018 semester.

Benton Shirey, director of University advising, will be at EKU Danville to assist students with scheduling courses for Fall 2018, and Lakin Wooldridge, EKU Online, will be on hand to assist students interested in pursuing an EKU Online degree program. The University will honor the in-person tuition rate for any current EKU-Danville student in a non-online degree program who switches to an EKU Online degree program.

Also, Lisa Cox, director of the University’s Student Outreach and Transition Office, will be at EKU Danville on Thursday, March 29, from noon to 6 p.m. to assist students with transitioning from EKU Danville.

It was announced last week that the University will close its Danville campus at the end of the Spring 2018 semester as part of ongoing budget reductions.

Students needing immediate assistance may also contact EKU Danville Director Cindy Peck at cindy.peck@eku.edu or 859-622-6736.
