The inaugural issue of the Kentucky Journal of Undergraduate Scholarship (KJUS), housed at EKU and the first of its kind in the state, is now online.

The multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed online journal can be viewed in EKU’s digital repository, Encompass, at http://encompass.eku.edu/kjus.

KJUS was established to showcase the research and creative activities of undergraduate students across the Commonwealth. Topics are categorized into one of several domains: life sciences, physical sciences, engineering and technology, mathematics, social sciences, applied sciences, human and educational services, humanities, creative writing, performance arts, and exhibition arts.

Dr. Jonathan Gore at EKU is serving as editor-in-chief of the journal. For more information, contact Gore at jonathan.gore@eku.edu.

Managed by EKU Libraries, Encompass currently features eight journals: http://encompass.eku.edu/peer_review_list.html. For more information about Encompass, contact Linda Sizemore, scholarly communications librarian, at linda.sizemore@eku.edu.
