Two Eastern Kentucky University students attended the Republican Presidential Debate in Las Vegas on Dec. 15.
Dustin Isaacs, Richmond, and Sebastian Torres, Lexington, were guests of the Rand Paul campaign. Isaacs serves as president of the campus chapter of Students for Rand, and Torres is state coordinator.
“The whole experience was amazing to be a part of,” Isaacs said.
Torres added: “It was wonderful to be chosen to attend the debate (and) quite eye opening to see the presidential election process in person.”
The pair also helped manage a rally before the debate.
