Eastern Kentucky University and Women Leading Kentucky are partnering to bring a roundtable networking luncheon to the Richmond campus.

Kentucky State Treasurer Allison Ball will be the keynote speaker at the luncheon, scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 21, at noon in the EKU Center for the Arts Black Box Theater. The activities begin at 11:30 a.m. with a networking opportunity that includes exhibitors and vendors. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased at www.womenleadingky.com.

“We are excited to partner with EKU to bring this luncheon to the University’s service area,” said Carol Siler, executive director of Women Leading Kentucky. “Our desire is to give women the opportunity to develop their professional networks to further their careers. EKU is a natural fit for us as we work to provide both educational and leadership opportunities to women in the Commonwealth.”

Women Leading Kentucky is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit, non-membership organization dedicated to helping women at all stages in their careers lead, learn, achieve and give back to their communities. Since 2000, Women Leading Kentucky has provided more than $150,000 in scholarship money to women attending Kentucky colleges and universities.

The organization holds nine roundtable networking luncheons each year in Lexington, Frankfort and Richmond, and an annual Women’s Business and Leadership Conference, which attracts approximately 300 professionals from around the Commonwealth. For more information, visit www.womenleadingky.com.
