If you enjoy setting up computer systems, troubleshooting networks, and learning about the newest electronic gadgets, a degree in Cyber Systems Technology may be a great fit for you. This ATMAT-accredited program prepares students to serve in a wide range of companies and other organizations where installation, monitoring, support, analysis, security, troubleshooting, and management of Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs) and internet systems are required.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), overall employment in computer and information technology occupations is projected to grow much faster than the average for all occupations from now until 2032. Approximately 377,500 openings are projected each year to meet employment growth.

Learn essential skills for today’s network security and tech systems careers. Our programs are made up of high-quality courses and taught by experienced professors. EKU’s curriculum blends academic and professional preparation through course topics such as installation, monitoring, support, analysis, security, troubleshooting, and management of systems.
A minimum of 120 credits are required to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in cyber systems technology.

Students may transfer up to 90 hours of credit from accredited institutions. Please note that a minimum of 30 credit hours in this degree program must be completed at Eastern Kentucky University.
Previously earned credits must be reviewed upon admission to EKU for appropriate articulation.
