Emergency Medical Care

 

Be on the front lives of saving lives. EKU’s Emergency Medical Care degree program
is the first CAAHEP-accredited program in Kentucky and second in the nation. Learn
from faculty with extensive EMS experience and get hands-on training, both in our

*On-campus and online formats; students must have existing paramedic certification
to enroll in the online format.

 

Admission Requirements

You will be admitted to EKU as a Pre-Emergency Medical Care major, After completing
certain prerequisite courses, you will be eligible to apply for the Advanced Sequence. 
Faculty review and rank applicants based on a scoring system comprised of prerequisites
