The Eastern Kentucky University School Leadership program is designed to prepare teachers to school principals. Candidates are awarded Level I and Level II principal certification and/or rank change upon completion of this program and passing state-required licensure exams. The program is a 10-course sequence delivered on a 100% online/virtual asynchronous platform. Students complete weekly assignments at their convenience. After completion of this EKU program, educators can pursue certifications for supervisor of instruction, director of pupil personnel and superintendent (upon completion of two years of administrative experience).

Admissions Requirements:
- Meet admissions requirements of the EKU Graduate School
- Completion of an initial teaching certification program
- Documentation of three (3) years teaching experience
- Additional requirements – Master of Arts in Education in School Leadership
