Admission Requirements
Students are initially admitted to EKU as pre-Child and Family Studies majors. To gain full admission to the program, students must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 45 hours with:
- 2.75 overall GPA and an ACT of 18 or
- 3.2 overall GPA and an ACT of 17
- GPA of 3.0 in the following courses with a grade of “C” or better in each:
- CDF 203
- CDF 235
- CDF 236
- CDF 246
- CDF 310
