In an increasingly global society, recognizing the importance of multiculturalism, inclusiveness and diversity gives you an advantage personally and professionally. If you’re interested in studying the history, cultures and experiences of Africans and peoples of African descent around the world, you can earn an Eastern Kentucky University minor or certificate in African and African American Studies. An AFA minor or certificate will help you gain employable skills, research opportunities and a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you.
