The former Department of Recreation and Park Administration was known for all things services; service learning, community service, professional service, etc. The newly formed Department of Parks, Recreation, Exercise and Sport Science (PRESS), is off to a great start of taking the baton and carrying on the tradition. On Saturday, March 25th, PRESS graduate students joined with the Special Olympics to help host a swim meet for local athletes at Asbury University.

In the words of Dr. Adams-Blair, “It was an honor spending the day with beautiful, joyful athletes and laughing with them as they compete!”
