This certificate program supports OSHA’s mission by training employees in occupational safety and health to reduce incident rates for American workers.
To be awarded a certificate, students must successfully complete a minimum of 7 courses, comprised of a minimum of 68 contact hours (39 required hours, 29 elective hours).
There are three options:
- Construction Emphasis, 68 contact hours
- General Industry Emphasis, 68 contact hours
- Maritime Industry Emphasis, 77 contact hours
