The mission of the Eastern Kentucky University School of Nursing Simulation Center mission is congruent with the mission of the School of Nursing, College, and University by promoting student success through immersive experiences, encouraging students to act independently, think critically, and communicate effectively, using evidence-based nursing practice, in a safe learning environment. Simulation activities facilitate student opportunities to practice professional nursing with integrity, enlightenment, creativity, and team collaboration. These learning experiences prepare students to contribute to the health, success, and vitality of their communities, the Commonwealth, and the World.
