Minor in Special Education (Non-Teaching)

The minor in special education (non-teaching) is a perfect complement for students interested in supporting individuals with disabilities in their communities or professions. It provides additional skill sets for those pursuing careers in health and human service fields, occupational therapy, recreation, psychology, criminal justice and social work. The special education (non-teaching) minor provides students with foundational courses in special education and allows them to work with their advisor to choose electives across areas of disability that match their interests and career goals.

A minimum of 18 credits are required for this minor.
