The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) is a graduate degree program designed for individuals holding non-teaching baccalaureate degrees in appropriate fields who want to earn teacher certification for Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education (birth-Kindergarten), Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH), Elementary Education, middle grades, secondary, or P-12 levels.

 

Applications for the MAT degree program are accepted all year with student admission dates in January, March, May, July, August, and October of each year to begin the program.
