Veterans in Academics “is a podcast focused on military veterans in academics and the contributions they are making to scholarship and life.” In this first episode, Dr. Travis Martin discusses his transitioning from a soldier to a higher education professional, contributions student veterans made to the EKU community after returning from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the founding of EKU’s Veterans Studies program and future plans for the Kentucky Center for Veterans Studies.
