SAFE Scholarship
What Are SAFE Award Scholarships?
Annually, the Kentucky Safety and Health Network, Inc. provides scholarships to eligible undergraduate and graduate college students. The scholarships are referred to as the Scholastic Achievement for Education Awards, or SAFE Awards.
Eligibility Requirements:
Degree of Study: Applicants must be enrolled in a degree program for occupational safety and health, industrial hygiene, or a related field.
Undergraduate students:
Be enrolled full-time
Have completed at least sixty (60) semester hours;
Be carrying at least twelve (12) semester hours; and have a minimum 3.0 grade point average out of a 4.0 system.

3M Personal Safety Division Scholarship
This year, 3M PSD will award four scholarships in the amount of $5,000 each to outstanding students pursuing an education in a graduate-level occupational health and safety/industrial hygiene program at universities in the U.S.

Frank Gradisek Scholarship
American Association of Safety Professionals, Louisville Chapter, will award one $2,500 annual scholarship in honor of Mr. Frank Gradisek, past Chapter president. Application is due 11:59 pm, September 17, 2021. Get more information here.
KYTC Scholarship
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet offers scholarship opportunities to upcoming graduates who are interested in pursuing Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology & Construction Management.
Applications may now be submitted for the upcoming 2024-2025 year. Students who are chosen for the Civil Engineering or Construction Management program can receive up to $59,200* (before taxes) and those chosen for Civil Engineering Technology can receive up to $14,800* (before taxes). We also provide summer employment & full-time employment after graduation. (*depending on the # of years in school)
Students must attend UK, UL, or WKU for Civil Engineering / NKU, EKU, WKU, Morehead State, & Murray State for Construction Management / BSCTC for Civil Engineering Technology
Areas of interest include: Right of Way & Utilities, Environmental Analysis, Planning Highway & Structural Design, Geotech, Construction Materials, Maintenance, Traffic Operations Administration.
