STEM OPT Validation Reporting

Students on STEM OPT must submit a validation report to the Office of International Student and Scholar Services every six months starting from the date the 24-month STEM extension begins until the end of your STEM OPT. SEVIS will automatically terminate your student’s record if you fail to submit this report on time.

If you are changing employer during your 24-month STEM OPT, you must submit a new Form I-983 to EKU signed by you and the new employer.
