Abby Horn

Abby Horn holds both a BBA and MPA from Eastern Kentucky University, Abby combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of strategic business practices. Her role as a Business Analyst is enhanced by a comprehensive historical knowledge of the university and its practices, enabling her to align data solutions effectively with institutional goals and procedures. Known for her ability to collaborate with peers and stakeholders, Abby consistently demonstrates responsiveness and reliability across all projects.

Outside of work, Abby is passionate about handbell music and traveling. Playing handbells allows her to connect with others through music, while traveling broadens her perspective and fuels creativity.

Angie McDaniel & Charlotte Hisle

Angie McDaniel has over 23-year career at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU), starting as a Computer Operator in IT and progressing through various roles, including joining the Systems Specialist Team in 2010. Currently, she serves as a Business Analyst on the Project Management Team, where she focuses on areas such as Student Success, Engagement and Opportunity, Online Learning, Graduate Education, and Research.

Angie’s experience spans numerous departments, including Finance, Human Resources, Financial Aid, Student Affairs, Parking, Slate, and Justice and Safety. Her diverse background and collaboration with teams across the university have been key to the success of many initiatives.

Charlotte Hisle brings over 25 years of experience at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU), with more than 18 of those years spent in the IT department. Throughout her tenure, Charlotte has made key contributions, including providing Banner technical support in the Registrar’s office, leading the implementation of Degree Works (DGW) as a project manager, and offering business reporting for finance, advancement, and student services.

Passionate about optimizing processes, Charlotte is dedicated to helping EKU staff and faculty save time and improve efficiency. As a Business Analyst on the Project Management Team, she is excited to drive innovative, streamlined technical solutions.

Stacey Mays

Ms. Stacey Mays brings 26 years of experience at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU), where she spent the majority of her career in Telecommunications before transitioning to Banner systems. During her time at EKU, Stacey earned both her Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees. Her extensive institutional knowledge and expertise make her a valuable asset in the project management role.

Stacey is married to Jason and is a proud mother of three children. She loves spending time with family and friends, thrift shopping, and going to escape rooms.

Stephanie King

Stephanie began her career at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) over 28 years ago in the Academic Computing department, which later evolved into what is now Information Technology. Throughout her time at EKU, Stephanie has remained dedicated to the university, serving on the Staff Council since its inception and contributing for more than two decades. Her long-standing involvement reflects her commitment to the EKU community.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending her summers camping with family, friends, and her dog, Ellie. She and her husband, Bruce, have two daughters, Haylie and Braelyn.

Tiffany Hampton,
Director, IT Project Management & Business Operations

Tiffany Hampton is the Director for IT Project Management & Business Operations at EKU. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master’s in Business Administration, with over 19 years of Higher Education experience.

Tiffany’s extensive background in advising, retention and data analysis has lead her to create solutions for faculty, staff and student success, utilizing knowledge of both the business and technical side of operations.

In her free time Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family, music, and traveling for new adventures.
