The Professional Education Services office oversees the organization and administration of all clinical experiences associated with the teacher education program at Eastern Kentucky University.

Our staff is responsible for:

Receiving and evaluating all applications for the professional semester
Determining the appropriate disposition of applications
Collaborating with local schools to secure suitable placements for student teachers
Providing ongoing assessments of candidates’ clinical experiences during the professional semester

Many of our policies align with Kentucky Regulations and the guidelines set by the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board.
