The Professional Education Services office oversees the organization and administration of all clinical experiences associated with the teacher education program at Eastern Kentucky University.

Our staff is responsible for:

  • Receiving and evaluating all applications for the professional semester
  • Determining the appropriate disposition of applications
  • Collaborating with local schools to secure suitable placements for student teachers
  • Providing ongoing assessments of candidates’ clinical experiences during the professional semester

Many of our policies align with Kentucky Regulations and the guidelines set by the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board.
