For security reasons, no user is an administrator on their computer. This is to prevent unwanted software from being installed without the user’s consent or knowledge. In order to install software, you must use Run Elevated in order to run the executables as an administrator.
Accessing Run Elevated Menu
You will need to locate the install media or executable file, typically located within your Downloads folder or from an external drive
You will right click on the file and select Show More Options
Then you will choose Run Elevated
You will be prompted to enter a reason and your password
This will allow you to run the installer as if you were an administrator
