Diabetes Management Program

The University offers and funds a diabetes management program, coordinated through BluMine Health Clinic. EKU employees covered under an EKU health plan are eligible to participate. Eligible employees will be able to obtain their diabetes medication with $0 co-pay.

Participating employees are required to visit BluMine Health Clinic once per quarter. There are eight clinics in the Kentucky and Indiana area. The phone numbers and addresses for these clinics can be found below.

Spouses and dependents are eligible to participate in the program. Those covered under the EKU employee’s insurance may also be eligible for medications with $0 co-pay.
