Connecting to eku_secure Wifi

The following support article will show you how to connect yourself to the eku_secure wireless network using various devices.

Windows Laptops

NOTE: Use left drop-down arrow icon for reference images or additional information.

Click on the windows network connection icon in the bottom right corner of the taskbar

Click “eku_secure“

Click “Connect“

Enter your email username and password and click OK

If you see this window, choose “Connect“

“Connected” will appear under eku_secure when connected

MacBook Laptops

NOTE: Use left drop-down arrow icon for reference images or additional information.

Click on the wireless connection icon

Select “eku_secure“

Enter EKU username and password

Verify Certificate, Click “Continue“

If prompted, enter local machine username and password

A checkmark will display by eku_secure when connected

iPhone

NOTE: Use left drop-down arrow icon for reference images or additional information.

Go to “Settings“

Tap on Wi-Fi

Select eku_secure from the network list

Type in your EKU username and EKU email password. Your EKU username is the first part of your EKU email address (before the @ symbol) for students and typically last name and first initial for employees.

Tap Trust if prompted about the Certificate

You should now be connected to EKU’s secure wi-fi network

Android

Navigate to Settings
Select Wi-Fi
Select Add Wi-FI Network
Choose eku_secure
Press Connect
Enter EKU credentials. Note for Android 11 Users: If you are asked for a domain, the domain needed is “isepsn1.eku.edu”. You will also need to select “Use System Certificate”.

Anonymous Identity: (blank)
Network SSID: eku_secure
Security: 802.1x Enterprise
EAP Method: PEAP
Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPV2
