Assembly and Accountability Planning

Emergency Action Plans are a requirement of the Occupational Safety and Health Standards promulgated under the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). An important consideration for the faculty and staff of the institution is planning for how individuals in responsible charge of others will go about assembling and accounting for the people in their care. Emergency Management will be busy facilitating emergency response, with the goal of containing and mitigating the problem. Therefore, in order to assist the individual area and unit leadership within the institution, we have created an Assembly and Accountability Plan as a recommendation for how you might tend to this significant responsibility. We encourage you to review this plan, modify it as appropriate for your work area or unit, and implement it along with other applicable emergency actions.
