Sabbaticals offer faculty important and productive time for intellectual and creative discovery. Hosted each spring, the annual Sabbatical Gallery honors the exemplary work faculty complete during their sabbatical time. Such work serves to inspire the academic community, refreshing our vision of what is possible in a faculty member’s career.
Importantly, the Sabbatical Gallery is a showcase that recognizes individual faculty for their scholarly and creative work and ensures that faculty share their discoveries with the EKU community.
Format
Each faculty member showcases highlights of their sabbatical project on large static displays, creating a gallery space of recognition and scholarly inquiry.
Faculty completing sabbaticals are invited to present at the Sabbatical Gallery each year.
