The Eastern Honors Association (EHA) is the student-elected, student-governed body that organizes service events and activities for all honors students. EHA’s mission is to foster a spirit of service throughout the honors community. Typically, elections for EHA are held toward the end of the spring semester. Council Members for 2023-2024
Position Descriptions
- Vice-President: Serves as president in their absence, monitors attendance at EHA events, monitors EHA bylaws and holds members accountable, assists service committee in planning and executing service events, becomes president in their second year. This office is a two-year academic commitment.
- Recruitment Committee: Takes minutes at each EHA meeting, advertises all EHA events and assists Service Committee in planning and executing service events. This office is a one-year academic commitment.
- Social Committee: Maintains and reports EHA budget, plans and monitors fundraising needs, assists Service Committee in planning and executing events. This office is a one-year academic commitment.
- Service Committee: Serves as contact person for all service projects and community agencies, presents and coordinates all service events (at least 8 each year, in cooperation with the rest of the officers). This office is a one-year academic commitment.
