Go “Camo” to “Maroon”
Many veterans use the HLS degree to enhance their professional skills and to open “doors” to careers in the civilian sector, including those working in the intelligence community, emergency management, law enforcement, and private sector security.
Go “Maroon” to “Camo”
Are you in high school and interested in a post-graduation career in the military services? Within the HLS program, you will have an opportunity to meet with faculty, staff, and peers who can help you select the appropriate service and specialty. You may also join and benefit from the Army ROTC program at EKU, which is one of the best; see armyrotc.eku.edu.
Be “Camo” and “Maroon”
For students who are serving in the National Guard, Reserves, and Active Duty, there is a focus on flexibility. For example, online courses allow you to study anytime and from anywhere. They are segmented into eight-week formats offered throughout the year, and instructors remain flexible if you encounter operational or training obligations that impact course activities.
