Well I was born and raised in and around Berea, Kentucky my entire life. Berea, as we know, is “Where Art’s Alive” and the home to artisans who work in mediums from clay, glass, metal and wood to performance artists, musicians and literary arts. I suppose it is in that vein that I come from a long line of artisans–wood (e.g., furniture and home hand-crafted items), painters, storytelling and poets. I too found a love of art running through my veins and have, for most of my life, found myself writing, drawing and painting, and designing and creating jewelry.
