Big E Welcome
Big E Welcome is the premier event for all first-year students to make their debut to an exceptional Eastern Experience. It’s one of the EKU traditions you’ll remember for a lifetime: five days before classes kick off to see the hype for yourself, explore campus, make connections with other first-year students, meet your support network at EKU and settle into your new home. You’ll also equip yourself with the skills and habits to succeed in the classroom and beyond. During the Big E Welcome, your Colonel Crew Leader will be there every step of the way to show you the ropes and answer questions. We’re ready and excited for you! Check out the schedule below for more information. The Big E Welcome is mandatory for all first-year students. Transfer students with less than 30 hours are expected to attend. There is no fee for the Big E Welcome.
