What?
STEM START is a 4-night, 4-day workshop designed to equip students with the skills needed for success in college. During this project-based experience, students practice and apply fundamental concepts and skills relevant to their majors and interact with current students, faculty, and staff in the College of STEM. Participation in this program helps ensure STEM Students arrive ready to succeed!

Completion of undergraduate STEM degrees continues to lag workforce demands. STEM START 2025 is designed to bridge gaps between high school and college such that students are ready for success in college-level coursework on the first day of classes.
