Curriculum & Enrollment

The globalization and international affairs program enables students to analyze cultural, economic, geographical, historical, political, and social forces that influence globalization. Students learn to identify factors which impede or encourage globalization, and to evaluate the impacts of increasing global interdependence at the local, national, and international levels. One of the distinguishing features of the program is the senior seminar which brings together several disciplines and culminates in a research paper and presentation. This capstone experience helps to integrate globalization ideas and concepts from the various related disciplines into a unified whole.
