Protect the Environment and Human Health as a Community-Focused Public Health Practitioner

The need for qualified, knowledgeable public health professionals working to advance policies and programs to ensure human health, protect the environment, inform state and federal legislators, and reduce waste has dramatically increased.

EKU’s Master of Public Health (MPH) program with a concentration in Environmental/Occupational Health & Sustainability (EOHS) equips graduates with the expertise to protect public health and help communities create and sustain healthier environments. As the frequency and complexity of global environmental health challenges grow, MPH-EOHS graduates emerge as skilled leaders, ready to research problems, develop solutions, and tackle these issues when they arise at the local level.
