The School of Nursing held its second annual Summer Experience on July 12, 2022. The camp is a one-day experience to allow students in their sophomore through senior years to explore the field of nursing, in hopes they declare a nursing major when they enter college.

The experience held hands-on demonstrations, campus-wide scavenger hunts, and faculty panels all while hosting students on the Campus Beautiful for lunch in Case Dining Hall.

Our committee worked with our partners at Gear Up Kentucky to bring students to campus as well as local high schools to spread the word on the event.

This event has become an annual tradition for the School of Nursing and an unforgettable experience for students who attend. A huge thank you to all the volunteers from the College of Health Sciences and the School of Nursing!
