Chemistry and Forensic Science students have the opportunity to learn more about a particular profession and get involved by joining one of our department student organizations.
Crime and Chemistry Club (Chemistry and Forensic Science majors)
This organization provides students the opportunity to learn more about a career in chemistry and forensic science. The club works on community service opportunities related to chemistry and forensic science. Examples of professional service provided by the club: 1) making liquid nitrogen ice-cream for homecoming, 2) work with Boy Scouts to earn a chemistry badge, 3) travel to Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and 4) demonstrations and science fair judging at Model Laboratory School.
