A native of Perrysburg, Ohio, Ross Lingenfelder was hired as Player Development Coordinator in August of 2009. Before joining the PGA Golf Management staff at EKU, Ross was employed as a PGA assistant golf professional at the historic Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio. He is currently a Senior Lecturer and an Assistant Director of Development.
A classic Donald Ross design, Inverness Club has hosted nine major championships and currently ranks No. 40 in Golf Digest’s Top 100 courses. Mr. Lingenfelder is a 2006 graduate of Methodist College in Fayetteville, N. C., where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Professional Golf Management. He was elected to PGA membership on February 13, 2007. He also has a Master of Science in Physical Education.
Mr. Lingenfelder has had the privilege to learn from some of the nation’s best golf professionals, including David S. Graf, PGA Master Professional at Inverness Club, and Dick Wilson, PGA Director of Golf at The Everglades Club in Palm Beach, Fl. Mr. Lingenfelder is passionate about teaching and club fitting and is continuing his education in these fields of study.
