Dr. Feltus is an individual dedicated to teaching, to EKU, and to the accounting profession. After working for the Commonwealth of Kentucky for 10 years, first as an accountant for the Department of Revenue and then as an auditor for the Auditor of Public Accounts, she decided to pursue her passion for teaching and became a lecturer at EKU in 2015. She then went on to earn a PhD from Kennesaw State University in 2019.
In addition to her teaching duties, Dr. Feltus is a member of the Kentucky Society of CPAs (KYCPA) and the Association of Government Accountants (AGA), where she has served on committees, task forces, and the local chapter’s executive committee. She has served EKU by being a member of multiple university committees and by being on the Faculty Senate. She also serves her community by being on the financial committee for the Girl Scouts of Kentucky Wilderness Road Council.
Outside of work, Dr. Feltus enjoys hiking the various natural areas in her beautiful home state of Kentucky.
