Ms. Abby Helton is a seasoned CPA with a strong background in accounting education. She earned her Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Kentucky in 2012 and a Bachelor of Business Arts in Geography in 2007, also from the University of Kentucky.

Since August 2020, Ms. Helton has been a dedicated Lecturer of Accounting and EKU Online Coordinator at Eastern Kentucky University. Her commitment to education is further reflected in her prior roles as an Adjunct Instructor in Accounting at Bluegrass Community and Technical College and Asbury University.

Ms. Helton is an active member of professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Management Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

In recognition of her outstanding contributions, she received the Outstanding Instructor Award in 2021, highlighting her dedication to excellence in accounting education.
