Dr. Qian Xiao is a Professor of Management at Eastern Kentucky University. She received her Ph.D. in Management from the University of Alabama. She teaches upper-level management courses and MBA programs. She has taught Business Strategy, Principle of Management, International Business, Operations Management, and Healthcare Management at different universities.
Her research has been presented at both national and international conferences. It has been published in academic journals such as the Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Education for Business, Journal of Internet Commerce, Journal of Further and Higher Education, Journal of Business and Entrepreneurship, Academy of Health Care Management Journal, Journal of Health and Human Services Administration, and the International Journal of Healthcare Quality Assurance.
Dr. Xiao is a member of the Academy of Management, the National Business Education Association, and the Beta Gamma Sigma, the International Business Honor Society. She serves on various committees across campus and on the editorial boards of many academic journals. She has been recognized by various awards, including the Dr. Martin Luther King Faculty/Staff Community Service Award, Jack L. Dyer Excellence in Teaching Award, the EKU’s Critical Thinking Teacher of the Year, and the Robert B. Rogow Excellence in Research and Scholarship Award.
