The Department of Biological Sciences provides access to several student organizations. If you want to meet others with similar interests, “beef-up” your resume when applying for a professional school, or be involved in volunteer work, joining a student organization is for you.
Phi Sigma Biological Honor Society
Students who have completed at least 60 hours of coursework and have maintained a GPA of 3.0 or better are invited to join Phi Sigma Biological Honor Society.
The Wildlife Society
Students can join the Wildlife Society for access to resources, networking, and events. On Facebook, “like” The Wildlife Society at EKU (@ekutws) to get automatic updates.

Pre-Professional Health Society
The EKU Pre-Professional Health Society is open to anyone on a pre-professional track (Pre-Med, Pre-Vet, Pre-PA, etc.). This organization meets every other Thursday from 5-6pm in 4101. Join our Facebook group at EKU Pre-Professional Health Society.
