Aerospace Management

EKU aviation student at Lexington airport.

What is Aerospace Management?

For every flight crew, there are dozens of support personnel required at airports, airlines, and other aviation organizations to support a single flight. Students who pursue a concentration in Aerospace Management are given the foundation for stepping into these highly-skilled and demanding roles. Common, entry-level career pathways for EKU Aerospace Management graduates include:

  • Airport Operations
  • Airline Operations
  • Aviation Planning
  • FBO Management
  • Corporate and Business Aviation

A Nationwide Reputation for Excellance

With three commercial service airports within a 90-minute drive of campus, few schools have access to the Aerospace Management side of aviation like EKU. Combine that with a reputation for producing some of the most capable and professional future leaders in the industry and it’s no surprise that more and more students are choosing Eastern as the launchpad for their aviation journey.

EKU Aerospace Management students are also given access to a diverse network of industry professionals from across the U.S. and beyond. Students can participate in one of the country’s most active student chapters of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) where they can experience internships, facility tours, research, regional and national conferences.
